Why Douala Became Cameroon’s UFO Anchor

Several features of the testimony are worth noting:

These limitations do not automatically make the account false. Human memory can preserve emotionally intense experiences for decades. However, organised discussion alone does not establish that extraordinary aerial phenomena occurred. The surviving records from Douala lack several elements normally associated with strong UFO evidence:

- aviation or radar confirmation;
- photographic evidence with verifiable provenance;
- official investigation files.
The meetings therefore occupy an intermediate category between folklore, community memory, and investigative ambition. They are stronger than anonymous internet rumours because names, dates, and organisers are identifiable. Yet they remain far weaker than cases supported by technical documentation.
This distinction is especially important in Cameroon’s wider UFO history.
